Description: This is a tall and strong growing species with large open rosettes to around 25cm in diameter. Generally green over the winter months, but over time plants will slowly transition in colour, showing a spectacular array of bronze, red and purple colours throughout the summer period. The harder and tougher this species is grown, the better colours you will get!
Plant Care: This is a hardy and tough species and must be grown in full sun to achieve the best summer colours. Plants will grow to about 1 metre high and develop rosettes to around 25cm in diameter of the winter period.
Origins & Distribution: Canary Islands (El Hierro, Tenerife, La Gomera & La Palma)
Comments: Occurring on four of the islands within the Canary Island archipelago, there will no doubt be a small degree of variability depending on the location found.
