From deep blushes of pink, red and green over the warmer months, to vibrant flushes of yellow and green in the cooler seasons and then somewhat everything in between.
'Athena' is truly a chameleon in the Aeonium world and we love it!
Throughout summer the variegation can often become less obvious, particularly if grown in a very hot and sunny location.
Plant Care: 'Athena' is vigorous and strong growing and plants will quickly form a lovely multiheaded clump. To maintain the best colours we recommend very good light in winter and then good filtered light in Summer.
Origins: It is thought to be a variegated form of Aeonium 'Blushing Beauty'. In this instance we feel this to be correct, as the overall form and characteristics represent 'Blushing Beauty' very well.
