Description: Ballerina is a small growing variegate with lovely white edges and silver steaks which gives the plants an almost shimmering appearance when seen in good light.
Leaves are often very sticky and tend to have a distinct concave habit which becomes more pronounced during the dormant period.
Plant Care: Hardy and easy to grow. The variegation is fairly stable but some plants will occasionally revert back to the non variegated form.
Origins: Variegated form of Aeonium 'Goblin'
Comments: A. 'Goblin' is most likely a form of Aeonium x globosum (Aeonium canariense x Aeonium spathulatum). The particular form though is dependent on which of the four varieties of A. canariense is involved in the parentage.
Ballerina has also been referred to as Aeonium goochiae 'Ballerina' which is incorrect.
