Description: Aeonium 'Green Goddess' is a beautiful cultivar, displaying deep emerald green foliage and stunning purple leaf margins. This one look its best of the summer months, where the green foliage darkens to a stunning deep shade of emerald and the rosettes develop a beautiful purple leaf margin. Plants can be large growing and can easily reaching 60cm in height and develop large rosettes up to 25cm in diameter.

Plant Care: This hybrid makes one of the best potted specimens and is extremely hardy and easy to grow. Even though this is a large growing plant, it grows extremely well in a small pot where the growth can be restricted, helping bringing out the best colours.

Origins: A hybrid of unknown parentage which we believed was initially imported from Asia. It it not a new introduction to Australia and has unfortunately been commonly sold here for many years under the incorrect name: Aeonium canariense var. subplanum.

Please view our blog on: Correctly identifying Aeonium canariense var. subplanum

Comments: This cultivar was previously sold by us as Aeonium hybrid.

Due to its unknown parentage and from being incorrectly sold for many years under the wrong name, when we initially listed it for sale on our website we simply called it Aeonium hybrid.

As we felt it needed a better name than just Aeonium hybrid, we ran a small competition giving someone the opportunity to give it a new name.

The outcome was the beautiful new name: Aeonium 'Green Goddess' by Natasha Baker.
