Description: We are excited to finally share this beautiful cultivar with you as it has taken us over 5 years to bring it into production. Its name is Aeonium 'Orion'.
Aeonium 'Orion' is a unique variegate, developing massive rosettes which will easy surpass 20cm in diameter. The variegation is soft and delicate, displaying a lovely streaked silk variegation of white, cream and yellow. The cooler months are generally when the colours are the most vibrant, with plants also developing a tone of red on the outer leaf margins over summer and when stressed.
Plants are hesitant to produce offsets and will either remain a single rosette or slowly develop a small number of offsets.
Plant Care: Easy to grow and look after. Plants look fantastic when grown in a dark coloured pot to boast and highlight the soft variegated colours of white and yellow.
Origins: The origins of this one remain a little unknown, but we believe that it is a hybrid of Aeonium canarience.
Comments: This cultivar has taken us many years to bring into production and although easy to grow, it has not been easy to produce in large quantities. Therefore will will never have many plants available at any one time.
Plants will often remain a single rosette or slowly develop a small number of branching offsets.
