(Aeonium aizoon x Aeonium aureum)
Description: Aeonium x aureozoon is a naturally occurring hybrid between the species Aeonium aizoon and Aeonium aureum.
We love this one and find it an interesting little hybrid which shows intermediate characteristics of the two parents species.
The plants tend to have inherited the bluey - green coloured foliage which is commonly found in Aeonium aureum, whilst distinctly showing a leaf and rosette shape akin to Aeonium aizoon.
The plants are much larger growing than Aeonium aizoon and will generally reach a similar size to Aeonium aureum.
Throughout the summer dormancy the foliage closes up substantially forming tightly packed rosettes, but with less of the open funnel shape typically found in Aeonium aureum.

Plant Care: The plants are generally only small growing reaching around 10cm high x 15cm wide. Plants are tough and easy to care for and look fantastic when grown in a small decorative pot.
Origins: A naturally occurring hybrid between the species Aeonium aizoon and Aeonium aureum. Plants are found growing naturally on the island Tenerife, within the Canary Islands Archipelago.
