Description: As magical as the name, this one is an absolute stunner and will not disappoint! If you love the colour purple then 'Zixia Fairy' is for you.
During summer is when the colours are the darkest, but we think its just as the plant is breaking dormancy that it looks its best, with vibrant colours of white, purple and green which make a superb colour combination. Although not as prominent as in summer, the colour purple never seems to truly disappear and can always be found on the leaf tips, margins and outer portions of the leaves.
A notable characteristic is the slight silk variegation within sections of the inner leaf, which is seen as the plants break dormancy and the rosettes open to begin growing again
Plant Care: Easy to care and look after. These taller growing Aeonium cultivars often need the slight head chop from now and then, to help the plant remain bushy and more compact
Origins: We suspect this to be one of the now many variegated forms of Aeonium 'Zwartkin' or 'Short Black' as it is know here in Australia.
Comments: We believe this is also the same as what is sold as 'Purple Tea Pot'.
